Decidedly curious: the back label is voluminous, but gives no explanation of the Trio (nor does the front label), nor any basic facts (eg the percentage of the blend). The colour is excellent, the bouquet and palate likewise; blackberry, blackcurrant and mulberry are the flavour vectors of the medium to full-bodied palate, although oak also has its say. Lovely wine.
96 points James Halliday
Very deep purple/red colour, bold and bright and young. There is a lot of perfumed oak and lifted blueberry fruit to sniff, and the wine is very bright and attractive now although it's obviously built to age, and will do so beautifully. The tannins are ample but fine and soft enough to drink young. Refreshing acidity. Intense flavour, long finish. A crackerjack young red wine.
