Its initial aromas are black currant, red plum, fresh herbs, subtle hints of roast capsicum and cedar. The palate has a backbone of grainy fine tannins and good acidity. The wine clearly displays lashings of cedary, tobacco box oak. The wine has excellent persistence. The wine will reward carefull cellaring for at least 15 years.
