Dark berry , violets, tar, and black licorice on the nose. This has softened and settled into its skin since the last time I had this. Mid weighted, with a softness and suppleness to its fruit and palate coupled with acidity that gives it lift and freshness. This is about as seamless as dolcetto gets. A lovely, effortless wine made for the table. Terrific with Neapolitan pizza
