Light red, a rather weak colour, with the faintest tinge of purple. The bouquet has sousbois and foresty notes and is light, shy and savoury, without a lot of primary fruit. The wine is light to medium-bodied with some middle fruit-sweetness and a pleasant trace of succulence. The tannins are quite evident and the finish is slightly firm for the weight of fruit. It's good with something light and meaty such as salumi. And it's best served in a big glass. 09 DEC 2018 Drink 2018–2027
