2013 Wild Duck Creek Reserve Shiraz, Heathcote

Shiraz Reserve is a wine of great depth and complexity. Only pristine fruit from our three best Shiraz sites go into this wine. Typically taken from ultra-low yielding patches making up to 15hL per hectare, Shiraz Reserve offers a wine of immense intensity without the heaviness typically associated with such a wine. Matured in predominately new French oak for 26 months prior to bottling, with the occasional American oak barrel being introduced when quality permits. Shiraz Reserve is a wine crafted to be consumed up to 25 years after its vintage.
