Two clones, destemmed, 7 days on skins, matured in French oak (40% new) for 18 months, not fined or filtered, 143 dozen made. Bright, clear red-purple; the bouquet is to the point of flowery, but the palate wanders off on a journey of its own with spicy/savoury notes marking the way, leaving the red fruits to fend for themselves. I can only guess pinot is having one of its moods, and should be left alone for another year or so - say '17.
