'The 2014 vintage has fought against the hardships of a difficult season. And it won. Santa Cristina’s DNA is intact, Sangiovese masters freshness and character the small additions of Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah give the wine that depth and roundness you expect from a Tuscan red. Red fruit, aromatic and pleasant, graceful features of gentle tannins with hints of spices and balsamic herbs.'
Bruno Petronilli
The first vintage of Santa Cristina was produced in 1946 by Marquis Niccolò Antinori. Over time, thanks to a constant commitment to quality, Santa Cristina has become a point of reference for Tuscan experts in the field of wine making and for others.
Red with purplish highlights in colour, Santa Cristina presents fruity aromas of cherries and ripe red berry fruit well integrated with notes of black pepper and balsamic sensations of eucalyptus and mint. The palate is ample and supple, the finish is characterized by gentle tannins and the persistent flavour of the grapes which make is so delicious and easy to drink now.
