92-93 pts - James Suckling
Vanilla, black cherry, smoke and anise come through easily. There is freshness along with juicy fruit and bright red berries. Made from blending 68% Merlot , 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Cabernet Franc , the wine is now aged in 500 liter barrels of which 50% is new French oak.
The 2014 Quinault L'Enclos is super-impressive. Ripe, silky tannins and a sense of textural finesse are two of the key signatures. Sweet dark cherries, graphite, spices, rose petals and mint are all laced together in an exquisite, supple St.-Emilion endowed with total class. Above all else, the 2014 speaks to refinement. What a gorgeous wine this is. The blend is 69% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Cabernet Franc.
