Aged in equal parts of new French and American oak, the Greenock Shiraz is a full-bodied structured wine.
Textural tannins provide the backbone, supported by rich berry fruits. Blackberry, black cherry, plum flavours are accentuated by mocha and vanilla flavours derived from the oak.
Hard to keep hands off it, but you should until 2020 and then drink it to 2035.
Gold medal winner.
