As one might reasonably expect this is notably more elegant than the old vines Gevrey with its ripe but cool and airy array of essence of black cherry, red currant and spice scented nose. There is good energy and detail to the sleek middle weight flavors where the relatively refined texture of the mid-palate contrasts markedly with the robust but not rustic finale. This too is worthy of your attention provided you can allow it at least a few years of cellar time first.
