Mainly selected from six rows of the oldest vines, the balance from newer plantings of clones MV6 and D4V2, 30% whole bunches, the ferment starting naturally after a cold soak, matured in French oak for over 12 months (50% new, 40% 1yo). This is a profound pinot with a voluptuous array of plum and black cherry fruit. The new oak is evident, but integrated and balanced.

This wine has beautiful lifted strawberry and cherry characters on the nose with a touch of spice adding complexity. The palate has fine, chalky tannins; lovely fruit concentration and a silky texture.
