The subtle nose opens with hints of wet chalk and ripe Amalfi lemon. That wonderfully ripe, brisk, lemon ripeness also pervades the palate where the fine mousse highlights the chalky depth of the wine, its rounded fruit and a textural quality that seems to come with a hint of dried corn husk. This strikes a lovely balance that makes most of England’s briskness and Nyetimber’s famed sense of balance. There is depth and length and much elegance.

Blanc de Blancs is the cuvee that once upon a time marked the beginning of Nyetimber’s winemaking back in 1992. This refined wine is crafted from a single vintage and given around five years on the lees, offering a pure expression of Chardonnay.
For over 30 years, Nyetimber has had a single aim: to make the finest English Sparkling Wine, one to rival the very best in the world.
A true pioneer, Nyetimber was the first producer of English sparkling wine to exclusively grow the three celebrated grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Nyetimber is made from one hundred percent estategrown grapes and is regarded as England’s finest sparkling wine. Owner and Chief Executive Eric Heerema and winemaker Cherie Spriggs are committed to producing wines of exceptional quality.
