93 % Sémillon 7 % Sauvignon Blanc
This is very serious with lots of spicy, botrytis character and a deep and dense palate. Full-bodied, very sweet and long on the finish

The 2015 Doisy-Daene has a detailed bouquet, very correct, nothing showy or flamboyant as is typical of Denis Dubourdieu's Barsac. The palate is extremely well balanced and very pure: citrus fruit infusing the honeyed botrytis, veins of white peach and quince, leading to a very precise and sustained finish that leaves you with a smile on your face...and the wine ain't even finished yet! Just a wonderful wine - full of class and nascent joie-de-vivre. Chapeau Denis! Drink 2019-2050.

The 2015 Doisy-Daëne is compellingly beautiful. Beams of crushed rocks, petrol, lime and white flowers give the 2015 distinct Riesling-like inflections. Candied citrus, passion fruit and a host of more tropically-leaning notes develop in the glass. Creamy, textured and yet also light on its feet, the 2015 is a wine of total precision and class.
