Chateau Lagrange is a 182 hectare estate, planted to 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot.
A very attractive linear style to this vintage of Lagrange with blueberry and black currant aromas and flavours. Some flowers too. Medium to full body, chewy tannins and a flavourful finish. Very tangy acidity. Should develop beautifully. Precise cabernet-based red.
92-93 points James Suckling
Medium to deep garnet-purple in colour, the 2015 Lagrange gives up fragrant notes of chocolate-covered cherries, cassis and blackberry pie with touches of violets, forest floor, truffles and cigar box. Medium-bodied with plenty of intense black fruit and firm, grainy tannins, it has a racy line and long, mineral-laced finish. Drink 2019-2040
