The estate’s history stretches back centuries, but its modern reputation was forged through meticulous vineyard work and a relentless focus on quality. In 2015, a near perfect growing season delivered small, intensely flavoured berries, allowing Troplong Mondot to produce a wine of extraordinary depth, yet with remarkable balance. The blend is led by Merlot, supported by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, each variety adding its own layer of richness, structure and aromatic lift.

In the glass, the wine is deep and brooding, showing black plum, blackberry and dark cherry, layered with violet, liquorice, cocoa and subtle spice.
