2015 Hardys HRB D664 Chardonnay, Pemberton, Margaret River, Adelaide Hills

This wine reflects the depth of resources available to Hardys as it is blended from Yarra Valley, Margaret River, Pemberton, Tumbarumba, and Adelaide Hills fruit – an amazing winemaking achievement that produces a complex, richer style of wine with intense fruit flavours, structured acidity and subtle oak nuances.  Strong stonefruit aromatics and pronounced lemon flavours overlay cashew and lingering creaminess.

Winemakers notes:

Deep straw in colour with green tinges. The Hardys HRB Chardonnay displays vibrant aromas of nectarine and peach mixed with characters of toasted cashews and vanillin. A complex and interesting bouquet that is highlighted with spicy French oak notes. 

The palate is intensely flavoured with notes of white peach over a citrus structure of lemon and lime. Combining with these fruit elements are subtle hints of French oak spice, toast and nut, lengthening into lingering creaminess.
