The 2015 Chambolle Musigny Village includes 50% whole bunch fruit and 30% new oak with a lower toasting than previous years. It has a very elegant bouquet that opens with gusto - red cherries, mulberry and blackberry fruit tinged with vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, rounded dark plum and raspberry fruit; there is a touch of oyster shell towards the poised finish that lingers nicely in the mouth. Just a delicious village cru in the making. Drink 2018-2026.
