The 2015 K + B Shiraz is another superb wine from Michael Kerrigan and Gavin Berry.
Matured in 100% French oak barriques for 15 months it is dense and dark, almost black in colour indicating great fruit ripeness and intensity.
The nose is brooding, with dark cherry and chocolate aromas. The palate is immense with ripe and fleshy fruit flavours and firm structural tannin. This wine will benefit enormously from decanting to allow the full expression of aroma and flavour.
It will develop and become softer and fleshier over next 2-3 years – have patience! .

An ant with a magnifying glass might be able to read the humorous words on the back label, but I couldn't even get close. Regardless, the wine's colour is top stuff, bright yet deep, the bouquet offering so much you know for certain the palate will deliver black cherry + blackberry + licorice + spice + pepper + cedar + superb tannins to underwrite its ever so long future.
