Red and black cherry, rhubarb, orange zest and a mulch of wet leaves and clove make the introduction. This sappy, mid-weighted pinot expands across a spider web of savoury whole cluster spike, sandy yet firm tannins and well appointed French oak, a quarter or so new. There is a flourish of nourishing flavour to finish.
