This 100% Grillo hails from a small plot of ancient Grillo vines right next to the salt harvesting pans in Marsala and produces a poised, mineral white of great depth; in some part a consequence of the proximity of the vines to the salt lagoon. The Bianco Maggiore is fragrant with lemon, passionfruit and pineapple, with textural flavours of ripe apricot, underripe mango, and a slightly saline finish.
This wine is amazing alongside seafood dishes, especially tuna tartare or grilled swordfish
