An attractive wine with some varietal definition certainly, but the classic nebbiolo structure is still a little elusive for our local producers. Plenty of promising signs though. Aromas of licorice root and anise, new leather and red fruit with a savoury feel overall. Flows easily along the palate, with medium weight, subtle flavours and quite light, gently astringent tannin.
