2015 Veuve Clicquot Brut Vintage Unboxed, Champagne

This wine stands out for its elegance, tension and energy. The first impression is of its tension, verticality and minerality, after which the wine unfolds its aromas of toast, roasted coffee beans and praline. The excellent structure makes this a fine, upstanding vintage. Appearance: Bright yellow Citrus fruits: orange, grapefruit, lemon peel Pastry aromas: biscuit, brioche,crumble, marmalade, dried apricot, date, roasted almond, hazelnut, honey

On the palate, the attack is fresh and frank. Then appear the first aromas of fruits with mirabelle tart, candied citrus and roasted pears notes. Finally, refreshing notes of green hazelnuts and almonds arise.
