2015 White Stripes Sangiovese, Alpine Valley

Deep dark red colour with a slight tinge of black to the outskirts and a dark red hue. The nose dispels scents of spicy dark cherries and dried herbs over traces of earth and light old cedar notes. Light to medium weight and very approachable the palate has savoury flavours of red and dark cherries, infusions of dried herbs, light earth and spicy cedar. Dry finish with very finely grained, well integrated tannins and a lick of bright acidity. Aftertaste of spicy red and dark cherries, subtle dried herb infusions and light earthy cedar.
