''With time in the glass, the wine opens out to reveal appealing guava and rambutan characters, alongside some more honeyed characters. Concentrated and complex, the wine finishes long, with lingering notes of orchard fruit and a pleasing burst of freshness.''
Jim White, Technical Director
Four parcels of grapes, whole-bunch pressed, barrel-fermented using wild yeasts, partial malolactic fermentation, 15-18 months on lees. Quite a rich, complex wine with toast, marmite, ginger, nectarine, citrus, lime and struck flint flavours. A good food wine that still retains varietal character and crisp acidity.10 MAR 2019 2019–2023
