A release of 250 dozen bottles from the best barrels of the vintage. Counterintuitively, it is fuller-bodied than usual, and likewise it has higher alcohol, but the selection has worked to perfection. The colour is deep and bright, the flavours in a cherry (red and black) and plum spectrum, tannins and oak managed with the usual De Iuliis skill.
