An overtly floral-suffused nose exhibits additional breadth in the form of citrus, apple and petrol scents. There is both better precision and minerality to the chalky and textured medium-bodied flavours that terminate in a chiseled and saline finish. Drink 2022+.

Pale, bright straw-yellow color. Sexy scents of apple, ginger and nutmeg. Supple on entry, then juicy in the middle palate and more minerally than the Meursault Charmes. This is aging in 40% new oak but the wood element is subtle. Wonderful energy and precision here, conveying considerable éclat to its flavours of lemon, lime, crushed stone and flowers. The firmest and most minerally of these 2016 premier crus, not to mention the longest on the aftertaste. Offers superb potential.
