A blend accidentally created when the vineyard was planted to grenache and around 10% of the vineyard block failed due to drought, mataro unknowingly supplied for the replanting. Hand-picked, open-fermented, matured in French puncheons for 24 months. Fair and square - wonderfully elegant red fruits and spicy, savoury notes.
