The Maximin (formerly called Maxim) is a dry-tasting Riesling made from fruit sourced from a trusted partner (in the Mosel and not confined to the Ruwer valley) and not made from different sources every year.
The 2016 version was fermented down to approx. 16 g/l of residual sugar. It offers a great fresh nose of pear, herbs and spices. It proves nicely juicy and creamy on the palate and leaves a delicately creamy and spice-infused feel in the long finish. Drinik now-2021
A classic Mosel riesling for a friendly price that is very pure and clean with great (almost dry) balance. Drink now or in 2018 and 2019.
