60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot. A little touch of Cabernet Franc (10%)
(& at times a dash of Petit Verdot and Malbec)
Comprising mostly cabernet sauvignon and merlot with a touch of cabernet franc, splashes of malbec and petit verdot, too. There's an approachability to this partly aided by gentle extraction, aged for 14 months in French barrels and eschewing new oak. Pretty aromatics, violets and cassis, pepper and spice moving through to a lighter framed palate with fine tannins. Sweet fruit at the core and best drinking now.
