5 days cold soak, wild-fermented with 15% whole bunches at 28 degrees C for 5 days, matured in new and used French oak for 12 months. Good depth to the colour, and intense fruit, with black cherry/plum running as a stream between savoury, spicy banks. A good outcome for the '16 vintage.

A signature wine of the Bellarine Peninsula, and this cool maritime climate regionally expressive Pinot Noir is a wine of enormous appeal. It offers loads of cherry and plum fruit flavours, a savoury mid palate with and sappy flavours all rounded by cedar oak and a long, persistent and smooth finish.
