From vines planted in '69. Includes 10% merlot. It's back to its sturdy self, the tannin firm and sure, the fruit ripe and bold. The length of the finish then takes care of itself. Dark berries and dark chocolate, Aussie bush characters, a hint of florals. It's a wine of impact but it's not without elegance and it's all been polished just so.
