The 2017 season produced gorgeous aromatics and plushness of fruit. That classic 'gris' pear-and-almond-tart character is evidenced here, along with ripe nectarine, a hint of kaffir lime leaf and a touch of pithy grapefruit. The palate is rich and powerful, with a mineral texture and a long, intense finish. With a delicate touch of residual sugar, it’s both a delicious stand-alone aperitif and perfect with Thai and other Asian influenced food. Fermenting on lees for several months in a combination of stainless and large oak puncheons has also added satisfying palate weight.
An impressive sense of concentration, poise and polish to this pinot gris. An array of citrus and apple-pear fruit aromas and flavors. Finishes sweet-ish and smooth. Drink now. Screw cap.
