2017 Four Winds Murrumbateman Riesling, Canberra District, Elegant with legs for days. Pink grapefruit, sherbet and a touch of lip-smacking preserved lemon. There is some crunchy acidity with a nice dollop of Roses lime cordial.
Pale colour, youthful. The aromas are fresh and vital, lime-juicy, clean and crisp and vibrant, as is the taste. It's lively, tangy, clean and bracing. The finish is softened by a trace of juiciness, which is superbly judged and balanced. The finish is firm and dry. A very promising young riesling. 18 SEP 2017
