Planted on a raised river bed, hand-picked with a yield of 1t/a, initial cold soak, then 14 days fermentation with 20% whole bunches, pressed to French hogsheads (40% new) for 16 months. Deeply coloured, this is a fascinating picture of the '17 vintage with the contrast whole bunch with the other 80% of the fruit. It rumbles volcanically, discouraging further enquiry. It really is something way out of the ordinary.
