This is solid. Pretty good. Almost very. Raspberry jube, pastille, anise and scrub to iodine flavours. Violet and bitter chocolate to kick off. A flourish of mocha to coffee bean oak-accents mark the finish, but without dryness. Plush and sweet. A bit too much so. Ready to drink really.

Made in the classic Rhône style, each of the three varieties individual characters are truly magnified when they come together in the final cuvée. To that end, all parcels of fruit are vinified and matured separately using traditional winemaking techniques; fifteen months maturation in seasoned French oak hogsheads and the final assemblage bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Brick red in colour with youthful crimson tints. Black cherries, cloves, savoury meats and French oak chariness effortlessly meld together as one on the fragrant nose.
A seamless blend, perfectly crafted from these three noble varieties, the black cherries, spices and tarriness from the nose carry forward to the palate, in a swirling and textural flavour experience. Powdery tannins and fine grained seasoned oak completing the picture.
