Dark berries, plum, aniseed, plenty of exotic spice. It’s medium to full-bodied, has generosity of fruit, along with dark chocolate, and very pleasing thick and silty tannin, even acidity, earth, fat tannin and perfume on a generous finish. Almost what you might call ‘Italianate’. Feels so good. Drinks well.
