Bright, medium to full red/purple hue. Subtle red fruit, mixed spice and almond-like aromas, clean and fresh, attractive if slightly reserved and unready. Some dried herb nuances. The wine is medium to full-bodied and very savoury, with abundant fine, soft tannins which dry the palate. This is a bigger style and slightly tannin-dominant, and seems to need more time or aeration to bring out its full personality. There is abundant richness, fleshiness and depth, and the aftertaste lingers on very well. This will be worth waiting a while for. A very promising wine.
