The bouquet has complex aromas of citrus, white nectarine, and nutty barrel ferment notes. The wine has good palate weight, fine natural acid and excellent length.
“Nougat and toast characters make a clear play here, as do sweet spice notes, but the run of stonefruit and the refreshing nature of the finish have this in a very good drinking place. There’s a gentle/modest note of struck match too and good penetration to the finish. It walks the line between too much and too little ably well”.
