Medium to deep red colour with a tint of purple and a strongly smoky, spicy bouquet thanks to assertive oak, and the wine has intensity and penetrating length, leaving the impression that the oak is in balance. It’s concentrated and deep, solid and firm on the finish thanks to ample tannins. A pinot of serious depth and structure. It would work best with protein-rich food.24 Dec 2019 Drink 2021–2032 AUD100.00Bottle (Store)

Mid garnet with some bricking. It's interesting how this is evolving: it has loads of savouriness with the charry oak still at the forefront and yet the palate offers a core of sweet fruit. Just shy of full bodied but full of insistent, firm tannins that grip on the finish. No denying its persuasion.
