From calcareous clay soils, the citrus-coloured 2017 Pouilly-Fumé opens with a clear and spicy, slightly floral flavoured, very elegant and multi-layered aroma of lemon zest and butterscotch notes. Fresh and vital on the palate, with refreshing lemon flavours and an elegant, refined texture, this is a juicy, nicely structured and finesse-full Pouilly with a long and nicely grippy as well as salty finish. Still young but already of excellent quality.
