Barbera is handled with care, with controlled fermentation and time in oak to add depth, spice and polish while respecting the grape’s naturally high acidity and vibrant profile.

In the glass the wine shows a deep ruby colour with purple hues. Aromas are expressive and inviting, offering black cherry, ripe plum and blackberry layered with hints of violet, licorice and warm spice. The palate is medium to full bodied, energetic and well structured, delivering juicy dark fruit flavours framed by lively acidity and smooth, rounded tannins. Oak influence is integrated, adding subtle notes of vanilla and spice without overshadowing the fruit. It is a natural match for pasta with rich sauces, braised meats, grilled sausages and aged cheeses, and it will continue to evolve over five to eight years, gaining more savoury and earthy complexity with time.
