Picked at night, cool ferment, minimalistic winemaking employed. Expression of the vineyard, primarily, is being sought. To that end it's right on the money. Citrus, typically, calls the shots on the bouquet and palate, and the aromas and flavours have the underlying slatey minerality so characteristic of Eden Valley. The subtle fragrance and soft, persistent acidity of the vintage is a feature. Attractive now, but plenty of ageing potential as well of course.
