It is always exciting to taste new season wines, and Tyrrell's gets the badge for my first 2017. Sourced entirely from Tyrrell's HVD vineyard, this youthful semillon is bursting with lemony freshness on the nose. The palate is bright and surprisingly generous with softness and balance. Not a hint of grassiness, just plentiful soft lemon flavours. If this wine is anything to go by, 2017 is looking like a cracking season for the Hunter 05 JUN 2017 Drink 2017–2022
