Typical McLaren Vale flavours of abundant black fruit, dark chocolate and Turkish Delight. Perfect McLaren Vale Shiraz colour with deep purple hues and mouth coating tannins. This oak regime is all French, with approximately 25% being new which adds a vanillin note to the finish. A full-bodied wine with layers of flavour.
30yo vines, machine-harvested, crushed and destemmed, open-fermented, 7-9 days on skins, matured in French barriques, puncheons and a 2700l cask (28% new). Full-bodied, and wastes no time in laying out the reasons why you should buy it. It has a complex web of blackberry and satsuma plum fruits, licorice and dark chocolate and cedary oak. From this point on, don't lay down your glasses - pick them up.

Very deep, dark red/purple colour, youthful and bright. The aromas are dark chocolate, mocha and fruitcake with lots of dried fruits in it. Some toasty oak hints.
