A spicy and fruity red with beautiful depth and richness, offering blueberry and dark-chocolate character. Lovely length and intensity, yet balanced and very pretty. Excellent length.

Firm plum and raspberry fruits, this is another good quality St Estephe in 2019, a good sign for the overall quality of the appellation in this vintage. Silky texture, supple and with power that shows appellation typicity. Serious firm tannins and good acidities, but with welcoming spice and liquorice adding interest Drinking Window 2024 - 2040

The 2019 Haut-Marbuzet has a dense blackberry and bilberry scented nose with touches of brine evoking images of the Gironde estuary. This is not as flamboyant as previous vintages, tight and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity, fresh and crisp with superb delineation on the finish. This is a sophisticated Haut-Marbuzet, poised and persistent with a mineral aftertaste. Superb. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
