Charles Van Canneyt, now leading Domaine Hudelot Noëllat, brings a refined, detail driven touch to his own négociant wines, sourcing high quality fruit and vinifying with a Burgundian sensibility that favours balance over brute force. Morey Saint Denis sits between Chambolle Musigny and Gevrey Chambertin, and this wine beautifully reflects that crossroads, combining perfume with structure and depth.

The colour is a bright ruby with garnet tones. Aromas are elegant and layered, showing red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, followed by rose petal, subtle spice and a gentle forest floor note. The palate is medium bodied and finely shaped, with pure red fruit, silky tannins and a vibrant acid line that gives flow and length. There is a savoury undertone and mineral edge that add seriousness without weight, making it both charming and cellar worthy. A natural match for roast duck, pork, mushroom dishes, veal and herb driven cuisine. Drinking well now with air, it will continue to evolve gracefully for eight to twelve years, gaining extra savoury and tertiary nuance.
