18 months in used French barriques. This wine starts out with the most intriguing and pretty nose of lavender oil, rose petals and jasmine. The medium-bodied palate chimes in with flavours of juicy plums and woodsy spices. It's plush and supple, with shapely tannins that melt into the body of the wine. No overt oak influence. The result is a lovely drink.

The wine is fragrant with high concentration of typical black and red Syrah fruit and subtle spicy notes. The palate is plump yet firm, The wine is full and elegant, There is perfect interation bewtween natural acidity and ripe tannins, Its a classic example of cool climate Canberra District Syrah.
