This boasts riveting intensity of flavour, with guava-soused acidity, rapier-like and juicy, carrying this mid-weighted sauvignon long and far. Greengage, nettle, talc and Thai herbs, too. 40% of the cuvee was fermented in French barriques, used twice prior. As importantly from a textural perspective, the wine was then kept on its lees for four-months before blending with the tank fermented component. This has conferred detail, mineral crunch and ample breadth.
