Medium-deep red-purple, young and bright in colour, the bouquet echoing this with superbly fresh, vital cherry fruit which translates to the palate, with a light sheen of fine grained tannins and lovely harmony. Lovely wine indeed, drinking well right now. (80% whole bunch; 25% new oak)

50 year old vines with 80% whole bunch. Red fruit, spicy, earth, biscuit and dried herb. Light to medium-bodied, bright red fruits, a smattering of green herb, but some perfume in there too. Kind of brisk, firm dry tannin, and a solid finish. Nice wine. A few years won’t hurt it all. It’s identifiably Burgundy.
