A blend of 5 clones from Karridale, whole-bunch pressed to 500L barrels (50% new) for wild-yeast ferment and 10 months on lees. No additions other than sulphur at bottling. Cap gun and curry leaf on the nose, the palate is creamy and plush. Cool-climate acidity is like a spike through the fruit, holding it all together, salivating to the finish. This has breadth and depth, with a salted/preserved lemon character tying it all to the jetty. Smart.
